About the Program
This is among Schools' STEM program to foster science and math fundamentals' literacy from the mechanism of modern and traditional sports and games through ease (practical), visual and kinesthetic learning approaches.
Why Sports and Games?
Since children love to play (engage in sports and games), then sports and games activities are a creative and suitable tool to assist the students to explore the science and mathematics fundamentals through practical education from the activities they love to do or are familiar with (kinesthetic learning) in a way that through their actions they can be motivated, increase concentration, feel the reality that made belief to foster learning capacity through muscle memories and develop real-life science integration connection.
Program Objectives
- Promote academic achievement and inspire careers towards science and technology.
- Develop fundamental movement skills (FMS), good health, and well being.
- Promote humanity, social emotional learning (SEL), and patriotic mindset.
- Promote potential and inspire careers towards sports and games.
- Revitalize and preserve our traditional sports and games.
Approach
Directly or indirectly students engagement in sports and games to explore science-math, social and human fundamentals from the mechanism of performance.

program activities
Field Making
Geometry and Statistics
Field preparation through the concepts of geometry in measuring and making fields in different shapes (using standard and non-standard geometrical tools and formulas) also through statistics (data literacy) in reading, recording, and presenting the dimensions.
Small-Sided Games
Math, Natural, & Social Sciences
Conduct traditional and modern sports into small-sided fields to extract the fundamentals of math (geometry and statistics), natural science (mechanics-force, energy, power, work, and motion), teamwork (communication, leadership, and collaboration), socio-human values (fairness, integrity, responsibility, accountability, respect, and SEL).
MODERN SPORTS AND GAMES
International sports and games are proposed because they are popular and commonly practiced in our communities that they attract the engagement of more students in learning activities.
These games also enhance socio-international interaction skills, inspire and influence careers development.
TEAM BUILDING GAMES
These games are conducted to prepare professionals with social bonds, human values (teamwork, discipline, equality, fairness, integrity, responsibility, accountability, communication, dignity, and respect), and Socio-emotional learning skills (to identify and manage emotions, recognize sources of stress and cope with challenges, maintain positive motivation, develop self-awareness, and build relationships).
TRADITIONAL SPORTS AND GAMES
Indigenous games aid the execution of science and mathematics fundamentals practically by manifesting how they are integrated connected to our real life.
These games are also used to transform, revitalize and preserve our history, cultural traditions, moral values, and social identity.
PRIZES AND AWARDS
This is among mentorship, motivation and inspiration activities where awards and prizes are provided to the best performers of the activities in different implemented sessions to stimulate the level of competition, improve self-confidence, sense of accomplishment, and overwhelming respect to provoke others students' focus, hardworking and being motivated to utilize their full potentials.
